Our family...together again. Because of Hurricane Irene, we only had one opportunity to see TJ. So, once we had Rylee moved into her room, we booked it down to Norfolk to meet TJ for dinner. It was a long drive but so worth it just to all be together again. Even if it was just for a couple of hours.

On our way to SVU. It was Rylee's turn to drive. Kim took this picture of "his girls". I think it was almost as hard on him to let her go as it was on me. Almost.
I was cleaning out the basement and found this old white board. As I was taking it out to the garage, I turned it over and found where Rylee had wished me a happy birthday. This was many years ago. So, I thought I would capture this sentiment on film to enjoy forever. I love my Rylee girl and will miss her so much.
We went to dinner with a few family friends where the kids were all heading off to college. Jeremy off to BYU Provo, Terresa to BYU Idaho and of course my baby girl Southern Virgina University. These three have grown up together and these families have become our family. I love them so much and will miss them tremendously. It is not goodbye...it is, till we meet again.

Rylee and I were in the car when she got his birthday text. She was able to find a highligher in my car and a scrap of paper to write her gratitude.
Dinner at Chili's with what is left of our gang. Mary is my dear friend with breast cancer. She gave Rylee and Jermey Magic bullets for graduation/birthday presents. I love her!
From the backyard
I shouldn't be doing this, but I think only my parents look at this blog and they have already seen this. This is right after Rylee had her wisdom teeth pulled and she wants to check her make up before I start videoing her. Prior to this, she was talking like a drunken sailor. Funny and disconcerting at the same time.
She is trying to say that John Travolta is gay after she sings "I've Got Chills" from Greece.
My sides hurt from laughing so hard everytime I watch this.
Sorry it is so dark. She is in bed and we woke her up before we had to take Kim to the airport.
