Outdoor Adventure Assignment

Rylee's assignement for ODA this week was to make something out of twigs. Twigs from dead trees that is. So, while taking Gunnar on his walk we were able to pick up quit a few twigs to help her accomplish this assignment. She thought she would make a twig wreath. Her teacher thought that was a very creative idea. Here is the finished product. I think she will get an A+.

California fun

Ohhh how I love sunny California. We had a great time. Only one bad thing happened the whole time. We lost our camera. So the pictures you are viewing are from our phones.

We met up with the Bennett's and went house hunting with them as they will be moving there this summer. I sure will miss them.

Snow Princess

Yesterday we received another small snow storm. Our backyard looked so pretty, almost like a storybook fairyland. So, I had Rylee curl her hair and put on a dress that my mom wore to her prom. A little factoid, mom attended this prom with my dad. LOL. Anyway, these are a few pics from our "photo shoot". Enjoy!

Baby girl is college bound

Rylee was accepted to SVU in the fall of 2011 with a partial scholarship. We are so proud of her. This is going to be the most exciting time of her life. We are very impressed that she wanted to spread her wings and leave home. This experience alone will prove to strengthen and enlarge an already impressive young woman.
